Using the DisplayPort to HDMI cable, you can transmit audio if your graphics card support audio output through the DisplayPort connector. Resolution Supported : 4K@60Hz / 1080p @ 120Hz DisplayPort was primarily designed as a replacement for VGA, DVI and LVDS which are common interfaces used in the computer / IT industries, while HDMI was developed by the Consumer Electronics Industry specifically for Home Theater applications.
