The CAN-FD adapter supports 2020 and newer model year vehicles using the Controller Area Network Flexible Data-Rate protocol, and is an extension to the original CAN Bus protocol that was specified in ISO 11898-1. Data rate transmits up to 5 times faster than the original CAN data allowing more data to be sent between modules required on newer vehicle’s when diagnosing ECU’s and programming new modules. Works with AutoProPAD – FULL, G2 and G2 Turbo. This adapter simply replaces the standard OBD2 Connector on the AutoProPAD main data cable.
