Due to the fixture’s size, this socket takes up more space inside the fixture so there tends to be a shady spot where the socket is located. Unfortunately, the only remedy for this is switching to the candelabra socket. Candelabra (Small) base: Can accommodate up to a 60w LED equivalent (they will most likely come out with higher wattage options at some point). The socket itself is much smaller so it doesn’t take up as much space inside the fixture and therefore does not create the same ‘shady’ spot.
