Every Day Junior is a chewable tablet shaped like a little elephant with a strawberry flavour, specially developed for children aged 3 and up. Every Day Junior excels in composition, dosage, and absorbability. The chewable tablet contains almost the same high-quality substances as Every Day for adults, but with dosages adjusted to meet the needs of (young) children. For instance, a tablet contains a whopping 15 mcg of vitamin D3 (no need for separate vitamin D drops anymore). It also includes 60 mg of magnesium and 120 mg of calcium from natural sources. In short, Every Day Junior will stand up brilliantly to comparisons with other children's multivitamins!What's new?The formula now contains not 10 mcg but 15 mcg of vitamin D3, not 20 mcg but 45 mcg of vitamin K2, and 30 mcg of vitamin K1. Additionally, the amount of magnesium has been increased from 20 mg to 60 mg, alongside 120 mg of calcium. This formula also includes meso-zeaxanthin in addition to lutein and zeaxanthin, which is highly desirable in this era where children often spend a lot of time in front of screens emitting blue light.Natural sweetenerThe excipients used are just as important in determining whether a multivitamin is of high quality. Most children's multivitamins in chewable tablet form are largely composed of sugars or artificial sweeteners to improve taste. Every Day Junior is primarily sweetened with steviol glycosides from the stevia plant, and now also partly with erythritol. This is a natural sweetener found in fruits, mushrooms, and cheese, for example. It has no caloric value and is mostly absorbed in the small intestine and almost entirely excreted through urine. It does not affect blood sugar levels and is not harmful to teeth or oral health.
