Description In conjunction with Enhanced Turbos we developed and tested this Stage 3 hybrid turbo on our own Audi 8P S3 staff car. Developed to crack the 400 bhp mark with supporting mods on your Ko4 powered EA113 engine. This turbo is a complete plug and play for any without any need for modifications or surcharges on your olds unit. We have tested this turbo on stage 2 level cars also and prove a great option if you were thinking of upgrading to an anti surge core but find yourselves with cracked or damaged housings. Pictured and priced with an uprated actuator (as used in the dyno graph results) there is an option to spec the turbo with Turbo Smart actuator pre installed and set for extra cost. SPECIFICATION Compressor Wheel -Enlarged GTX GENII Style 9 blade Billet lightweight compressor wheel. With super small nose hub and extended blade tips. This ensures the highest possible flow whilst retaining drivability. Turbine Shaft – Enlarged Turbine Shaft & Wheel has been lightened and balanced as well as being designed with a cut back to reduce the high levels of back pressure found in this application and also to reduce heat. Bearing/Seal Systems – This unit is built with our “Mega Thrust” bearing setup. Over 20% larger than the original and with ported galleries, this ensures reliability at increased boost pressures. The use of high temperature piston rings with the rear seal being a step gap design, ensures perfect sealing and reduces blow by in high boost applications. Actuator – Upgraded Turbosmart internal wastegate for accurate boost control at increased boost levels Boost Control Solonoid – Genuine Pierburg BCS for reliable accurate performance Muffler Delete – Ensuring sufficient air flow is available to the Turbocharger, every unit includes a High flow muffler delete with black boost pipe and heavy duty super boost clamps At the balancing stage we high speed balance to far tighter tolerances than the OE and also to much higher speeds.
