Classic Post Operative Shoe

DescriptionThe Classic Post Op Shoe is a lightweight open-toe shoe which has a black, padded, breathable nylon mesh upper.  The TPR sole is firm, provides a stable non-slip grip, and minimises flexure – it is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.  It has two extra-long adjustable straps with D-ring hook and loop secure fastening over the instep; the double-sided hook and loop ends allow straps to be folded inward, preventing them from being caught on clothing or other materials. The straps can easily be shortened with scissors if required.The interior of the shoe can accommodate a circumference of up to 43cm to allow room for bulky dressings or bandages.  It has a padded, non-removable insole for comfort as well as a padded heel collar; it also has an extended heel counter to support the heel and arch and reduce over-pronation.This shoe is easy for both patients and clinical staff to remove and replace as required.Indications:Postoperative for stabilisation and off-loadingPostoperative healing (e.g. foot osteotomies)Trauma carePurpose:Provides stabilisation, shock absorption, and pressure off-loading after foot surgery.
