Torres’ original FE04, crafted in 1856, is perhaps his most renowned guitar and the only one he ever named: “La Leona” (The Lioness). Throughout his life, Torres refused to part with this instrument. It is the earliest known example where he introduced many of the innovations that would define his later work.
